All day I’ve been looking at you, kissing and hugging you and remembering those first few moments…your first few breaths of life.  I will never forget that moment when a nurse placed you into my arms and I just stared at you. I kissed and hugged you.  You made me a mother my darling boy.  I didn’t know it at the time but you had already transformed me and my life in more ways than I could have ever imagined. You are the light of our lives and we literally cannot believe that in a blink of an eye, four years have flown by.

You are full of kindness. You are gentle, quiet…loud when you want to be…but soft at heart. You love your baby sister more than anything in this world.  Your baby blue eyes are piercing, and I love to gaze into them when we speak. You are intelligent. You ask amazing and intuitive questions and you challenge me to find the answers for you. You love to play pretend and your imagination is endless. You love to read and you love to watch The Barefoot Contessa…you ask me at least once a day when we can meet Ina Garten…I’m still working on it. These are just a few of the many facets of your amazing spirit that we love and treasure. I thank God every second for you. You are the light in our lives and we are so blessed to have you as our baby boy. You are so loved my sweet Tommy. Happy Birthday my angel.
