Growing

We are so happy to finally share the news that our family is growing! Tommy will officially make his big brother debut sometime in June of 2013. My official due date is June 14th but we’ll see if he or she actually waits that long.

If I were a betting woman I’d say I’m having a boy based solely on the fact that I feel the exact same as I did when I was pregnant with Tommy…awesome (with as much sarcasm as you can imagine me saying out loud). Rough is more like it. I say a little prayer every night and thank god for this wonderful blessing…and then I thank him for the wisdom he granted the wonderful man or woman who created my anti-nausea medication, Zofran.

At this point we don’t really talk about it at all with Tommy because physically there’s nothing too terribly different about me quite yet. We’ll start those chats when the time’s right. One things for sure, this little baby will have the most amazing brother in the world.

Construction is Tommy’s latest obsession.  A quick jaunt down the road and we have the best entertainment this toddler could ask for.  He knows ever single machine by name and if you say it incorrectly he will correct you, don’t worry.  He has a special place in his heart for cranes and excavators but will be just as content to see a bulldozer any day of the week.  So we couldn’t have wished for a better costume for our little T.  It was a gift from my aunt Janice and let me tell you…it’s the give that keeps on giving.

We did our trick-or-treating this year with the same crew from last year and a few precious new faces (see adorable fireman next to Tommy and precious Mickey far right).  Tommy enjoyed a few more men to chat with as we walked. No offense ladies.

Try to explain this situation to a two year old.

Hope you enjoyed your Halloween…let the holiday countdown begin!
